Training and Development Programmes

For the development of the livestock and poultry sector, Government and other concerned organisations provide incentives in different forms including technical guidance and training.Training is an integral part for the successful implementation of all types of Animal Husbandry activities. The Corporation have the facilities for providing training for all types of commercial Animal Husbandry activities.

In order to grow awareness and confidence of the poultry farmers in Assam,the following training programmes are offered under this sector:

  • Training of farmers/ entrepreneurs on Dairy & Pig farming.
  • Beneficiary training under sponsored schemes.
  • Internship training for management trainees,
  • Training on Hatchery Management
  • Training on Feed manufacturing
  • Classroom and on-farm training of Poultry Farming- includes, duck management, broiler management, layer management, Quail Management, Turkey Management.
  • Training of Community Service Providers
